Activision has been kind enough to provide Starsky Media with an Early Access Beta code as well as a review copy of the game at launch. Stay tuned for more Call of Duty: Modern Warfare content.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be Infinity Ward’s latest opportunity in the development cycle since the release of Infinite Warfare (2016). The game is set in a realistic and contemporary setting and is identified as a soft reboot of the Modern Warfare sub-series. The game will feature a single-player campaign, cross-platform multiplayer, Spec Ops, advanced weapon customization/gunsmith, Gunfight (2v2 game mode), a brand-new engine, and more.
PS4 players were given the opportunity to try out the Gunfight Alpha between the 23rd-26th of August. This was the first look at the 2v2 Gunfight game mode, which featured limited maps (5 in total), no health regeneration, no perks, and preset classes.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare open Beta will be the community’s last chance to play the game before its worldwide release on October 25, 2019.
