Plot Summary

The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.

Building up to this over 10 years of films, this had plenty of weight on its shoulders. With so much hype around the film, it had to deliver on all fronts. Bringing together all these superheroes that we have seen over the years was a challenge in itself, but a challenge the Russo brothers tackled head-on.

Going into this the nerves took hold, not knowing whether they could pull off such a massive task, but they definitely exceeded expectations. Coming out of it the adrenaline and emotion meant that no faults were seen in the film, but there were a few minor details that maybe could’ve made this film perfect.

Following a few different storylines this could’ve easily become a chaotic mess, but managed to steer away from that and became a solid well-flowing film. Jam-packed with action scenes, this really was non stop throughout, jumping between sets of characters fighting for their lives against the titan Thanos.

With all the different beloved superheroes coming together there were a lot of big characters in this movie, how they made all these characters not tread on each other’s toes is an amazing achievement. Each character had important roles to play in the storyline and none of them got lost in amongst it all. ⠀⠀

So many things could’ve gone wrong for this film, but due to the 10 years of character building the Russo’s were able to concentrate on the story and the action. Bringing all these characters together is an amazing achievement and with a heart wrenching final act, “Endgame” was set up perfectly.
